  • Day 1: Drive to Dharapani

    Take an 8-9 hour drive to Dharapani, Manang from Kathmandu. This drive will take you through villages like Chyamche, Karte, and Tal. Arrive at Dharapani after the ride. Stay overnight at a hotel in Dharapani.

  • Day 2: Trek to Chame

    Walk up to Chame village from Dharapani. The 5-6 hours trek encompasses Bhote village along with serene oak and pine forests. Arrive at Chame (2700m) and get access to hotels and shops in this lovely village. Stay overnight at a tea house in Chame.

  • Day 3: Trek to Pisang

    Trek to the Pisang village of small settlements for 5-6 hours. Walk alongside the Marsyangdi River and coniferous forests. Cross the famous suspension bridge at the river and explore the agricultural area. Arrive at Pisang (3200m), walk around and capture the views of the majestic mountains. Spend the night in a tea house at Pisang.

  • Day 4: Trek to Ngawol Village

    From Pisang, trek for 5-6 hours amidst the abundance of coniferous pine forests until you reach Ngawol village. On the way, you will come across the village of Upper Pisang above the tree line. This is when you practically enter the Manang valley for the first time. Get a good glimpse of the magnificent Annapurna peaks from the ridge, all more than 8000 meters high. Overnight at the tea house in Ngawol village.

  • Day 5: Trek to Chulu East Base Camp

    Start the 5-6 hour walk from Ngawol Village to Chulu East Base Camp from where the expedition will officially begin. Arrive at Chulu East Base Camp (4989m). Witness the Annapurna range closer than ever. Acclimatize and rest before the big day. Set up the tent at the base camp and spend overnight at the tent.

  • Day 6: Acclimatization and Climbing Preparation Day

    Acclimatize at the high altitude and prepare all gears and equipment for the trek. Stay at the tent and stay warm. Overnight at the tent.

  • Day 7: Climb to High Camp

    Ascend from Base Camp to the High Camp at 5800m. The 5-hour walk will entertain you with major traverses, crevasses and narrow rocky ridges. Leave behind various peaks on the way to the top of the camp. Acclimatize with the high altitude. Overnight at tented High Camp.

  • Day 8: Climb to Chulu East and then Back to Base Camp

    Starting from the east side, ascend from the High Camp to the Chulu East peak (6429m). You will be at the pinnacle in approximately 10 hours. The climb may be a little tricky, depending on the conditions. Reach the summit following the solo trail. Breathe a sigh of relief as you captivate yourself with the incredible atmosphere up there. Climb down all the way to the base camp.

  • Day 9: Contingency Day

    You never know when you’re in the mountains. It is best to set up a contingency day just in case. You will stay at the High Camp before ascending to the summit. Make sure everything is ready and on par. Suit yourself as you leave the first thing next morning. 

    • Day 10: Trek to Manang

      Leave for Manang early morning from Base Camp. The trek down will be of approximately 5 hours. Keep yourself warm and stay wary of altitude illness. Explore whatever you can at the heart of the beautiful Manang. Have tea and spend the night at the tea house.

    • Day 11: Trek to Leder

      Trek downwards from Manang to Ledar (4,200m). Take back the gorgeous view of the hills and mountains. Spend the night at a teahouse or lodge.

    • Day 12: Trek to Thorong High Camp

      Trek from Leder to Thorong High Camp for 5 hours straight. Acclimatize as the altitude will be high (4800m). Prepare for descend the next day. Overnight at a tea house in Thorong High Camp.

    • Day 13: Trek to Muktinath via Throng La Pass

      From Thorong High Camp, walk all the way down to one of the most sacred temples of Nepal, Muktinath temple (3800m) via Thorong La Pass (5416m). Muktinath, known as the “Temple of Salvation”, will have a large number of pilgrims. Find abundant hotels and tea shops. Spend the night at a tea house.

    • Day 14: Trek to Jomsom

      Trek for approximately 5 hours from Muktinath to Jomsom, the tourist hub of Mustang. You have plenty of options in the windy Jomsom. Help yourself at the local eateries. Explore the Mustang culture and stroll below the open landscapes. Overnight at a tea house.

    • Day 15: Flight to Pokhara

      Take a 25-minute flight from the airport at Jomsom to Pokhara. Get down to Pokhara and transfer to a hotel. You can attend to the most famous attractions in Pokhara before returning. Fewa Lake, David Falls, Mahendra Cave, Bindabasini Temple, are some terrific options. Stay at the hotel in Pokhara.

    • Day 16: Drive to Kathmandu

      The final day of the Chulu East Peak climbing. Return from Pokhara to Kathmandu, a 6-hour long drive.
