Trekking in Nepal in Spring Season

Whereas, Tihar is the festival of Light, celebrated by Hindu people for five days. Every house lit inside and outside with Diyas, the night view is simply amazing. Winter Season (December, January & February)

During the winter season, the weather is cold, foggy and cloudy. Most of the high passes trekking may be closed. The recommended trekking in this month (December to February) are Everest Base Camp Trek, Annapurna Circuit Trek, Langtang Valley Trek, and Ghorepani Poonhill Trek. Also, you can plan your short trip to Kathmandu Valley Hiking, and Pokhara - City of Lake. Christmas and Lhosar festival is celebrated in this winter season.

Monsoon Season (June, July & August)

Typically, days are wet with high humidity. Mostly the rain falls at night, resulting in the wonderful weather next morning. The visibility in the higher regions - Mountains is very low and risk of landslides. In the lower region, the weather is very hot and dusty (Terai part).

Mid-June is the starting of Monsoon season in Nepal. In this season, the highly recommended trek are Upper Mustang, Upper Dolpo, TIlicho Lake, Tsum Valley, Nar Phu Valleyand Annapurna Circuit which lies in the rain-shadow area of Nepal. There are low rain and humidity.
