Booking a Trip:

A 'trip' refers to any product itinerary or activities that you buy with us including Trekking, Tours, Expeditions, and/or other adventure and tour programs.

A booking is accepted and becomes definite only from the date when the Company sends a confirmation invoice or email. It is at this point that a contract between the Company and the Client comes into existence.

Before your booking is confirmed and a contract comes into force, the Company reserves the right to increase or decrease the prices online.

Prices and Validity:

Mount Mania Treks & Expedition (P) Ltd will do everything within our control not to adjust prices and will generally only amend prices in the event of marked fluctuations in exchange rates, fuel costs and other operating costs on which prices are based. Airfares (unless otherwise stated), passport and visa fees (unless otherwise stated), travel insurance, excess baggage charges, airport taxes, gratuities to leaders and guides, extra meals, laundry, drinks, medical expenses, optional activities and trips, and any items of a personal nature are excluded in your trip price.

You must pay the remaining 50% balance amount three weeks before the trip starts. If you do not pay the balance of your total booking cost at least 14 days prior to departure, your booking shall be terminated and you shall lose your deposit.

You shall bear all the expenses of the boarding and lodging in times of unforeseen situations like flight cancellation on account of bad weather or unavailability of the transportation services due to strikes or natural calamities.

Flight Cancellation and Alternative Trip Policy

The weather can be unpredictable in the Himalayas and every year a significant number of trips have flights to or from Lukla delayed or cancelled due to unforeseen weather conditions. Under that situation, we will attempt to board our booked flight as per the itinerary. If this flight is cancelled we will return to our hotel in Kathmandu for an additional night.

On next day, we will again attempt to board our flight as per the itinerary. If this flight is also cancelled we will return to our hotel in Kathmandu for an additional night. Then, you must choose the alternate trip instead of everest trekking regions. Else, your trip cost won't be refunded.

We also advise allowing a few extra days in Kathmandu at the end of your trip should your return flights from Lukla be delayed due to weather conditions.

Complaints:

If you have any complaint about your trip, you must make it known to the leader of your tour group at the earliest opportunity, who will then be able to take appropriate action. If you feel your complaint has not been properly dealt with, you must notify the office in writing within 30 days after the end of your trip.
