About Trekking Route
Our journey starts with an adventurous flight from Kathmandu (1350m) to Lukla (2860m). After arriving at Lukla, you will start your trek to Phakding (2610m) and Namche Bazaar (3440m) the following days. Acclimatization at Namche is essential to adapt to the high altitude conditions.
Moreover, you will then hike to Dole (4038m), Machermo (4470m), and Gokyo (4480m) in the subsequent days. After acclimatizing at Gokyo village, you will climb the stunning Gokyo Ri (5357m). The gorgeous sunshine overlooking the snow-capped mountains from the top of Gokyo Ri is overwhelming.
Furthermore, you will then return to Lukla via Namche and Machermo. You will take the same route as earlier to complete this section of the trek. The adventurous flight then takes you back to Kathmandu from Lukla as our trek comes to an end.
When is the Best Time for the Everest Gokyo Ri Trek?
