Drinking water

Most of the tea houses and restaurant in every trekking trail has facility of bottled water or purified water. But you need to buy and it might cost from $1 to $4; as the price of everything goes on increasing with increase in the height. Even if you don’t want to buy the water; there are abundant sources of water on the trail and tea houses where you can fill up your bottles and use water purification tablets, SteriPen, life straw, iodine, water filters. Make sure you have enough of these purification tablets for 5ltrs of water per day.

We do not recommend you to buy bottled water during the trek as water is expensive and even if it is cheap; this trend will increase the trash of empty bottles. And being Mount Mania we try our best to minimize harm to the nature and using water purification technique instead of bottled water helps a lot keeping Eco-friendly trekking.

Walking Hours

Normally the itineraries we provide you are designs to walk in the reasonable pace for 5-7 hours a day. But the geography of the trail and the fitness level of the trekker always change this expected walking hour.  Walking downhill is much easier in the high altitude and always takes half of the time for same distance of uphill walking in the Himalaya. Walking above the height of 4000m is always tough and your pace will be slower than expected.

Shower in Mountain

Trekking gives you sweating and if you don’t shower with sweaty body, might be uneasy.
