Himlung Himal Expedition (7126m)

Himlung Himal Expedition is a perfect peak to add to your 7000 meters mountaineering list. This is a great peak for someone who is learning about the 7000 meters peak climbing experience. Located between the Manaslu and Annapurna range, you can already imagine how beautiful the view will be from the summit of the Himlung Himal. Not to mention the trekking routes to the base camp of the Himlung Himal being extraordinary with so many beautiful remote villages along the way. Tibetan villages like the ones at Nar and Phu Base Camp, Naphu Gaon, and Koto are some of the beautiful and culturally rich remote villages you will be exploring on your trip.

About the Route:

Himlung Himal Expedition will take you around the Annapurna trek routes filled with picturesque villages and beautiful glaciers and forests. Starting from Kathmandu, you will head towards Dharapani, ultimately trekking to the beautiful village of Koto. From Koto, you will head towards the beautiful glacier at Murju Khola, Lyapche Glacier passing through Singenge.  

You will finally cross 4500 meters altitude as you reach Phu and acclimatize while exploring the monasteries at the valley like Choling Monastery and Tashi Monastery. Finally, you will now trek to Himlung Himal Base Camp at an altitude of 4842 meters. Now you will slowly start your climb to the summit of Himlung Himal taking short breaks at each camp. After Camp three, you will reach the summit and return back to the Base Camp. retracing your steps, you will head back to Kathmandu and end your trip. 

Putha Hiunchuli Expedition (7246m)

Located on the far west side of the Dhaulagiri range, Putha Himchuli is a beautiful peak for you to climb. At an altitude of 7246 meters, the Putha Hiunchuli peak is a little more challenging technically but the views from the top of the peak along with the views from the way to the peak are outstanding. You get to explore the trekking routes near the Tibetan border witnessing ancient Himalayan settlements along the way. 

About the Route

There are many routes you can take to get to Putha Himal. You can take a flight to Nepalgunj and another one to Juphal and start your trek there. Another route starts from driving to Pokhara and reaching Beni and starting our trek from there. From Beni, we will head towards Takum through the trails covered with rhododendron forests. Passing several suspension bridges, we will reach Lamsang and head towards the small settlement at Gurja Gaon. slowly heading towards the Pitha Himchuli Base Camp, we will pass through many settlements at Darsing Kharka and Budzunge Kharka. You will climb the peak for 17 days and head back to the base camp and finally head back to Kathmandu ending your trip.

Churen Himal Expedition (7385m)

Churen Himal Expedition is one of the less popular expeditions in the Dhaulagiri region. With a maximum altitude of 7285 meters, Churen Himal includes three peaks: Churen Himal East at an altitude of 7371 meters, Churen Himal Central at an altitude of 7385 meters, and the Churen Himal West at an altitude of 7371 meters. We will be venturing towards the summit of the Churen Himal Central through the beautiful Tibetan settlements and the rich vegetation and wildlife. On the way, you will also pass through the Dhorpatan Hunting Reserve.

About the Route

Churen Himal Expedition Itinerary takes you from Kathmandu to Pokhara on a long drive and trek from Darbang to Takam through Dharapani. You will get to explore the beautiful Lansang and Gurja village on your way to Darsinge Kharka. From Darsinge, you will head to the Churen Himal base Camp passing through Burjunga Kharka. You will be climbing to the summit of the Churen Himal for 18 days. After finally summiting the peak, you will head back to the Base Camp and head back to Kathmandu retracing your steps and ending your beautiful journey. 

Lakpa Ri Expedition (7045m)

Lakpa Ri Expedition starts with your flight from Kathmandu to Lhasa. Your trip continues with a long drive to Shigatse. From Shigatse, you take turns on small treks and drive to finally reach the Rongbuk Everest Base Camp. Trekking to the third camp of Everest Base Camp, you finally climb the Lakpa Ri Peak and return to the Base Camp. Finally, you will end your trip by driving all the way back to Kathmandu through Rongbuk and Kerung.

After some sightseeing in Lhasa, you will head to Shigatse with a long drive passing through Gyantse.  The drive further will take you through the settlement at Shegar to the Everest Base Camp. after a day or two of acclimatization at Everest Base Camp, you will now trek to Advance Base Camp and finally make your climb to Everest North Col. after exploring the summit, you will head back to the Advance Base Camp and trek down to the Everest Base Camp. from the base camp, you will drive back to Kathmandu via Kerung.

Gangapurna Expedition (7455m)

The climb to the Gangapurna Peak is of moderate difficulty so it won’t be so hard assisted by the crew. So you can enjoy yourself during this amazing expedition. 

About the Route

Arriving at Kathmandu, your Gangapurna Expedition starts with your drive from Kathmandu to Chamje. From Chamje you will start your trek to Manang passing through many villages like Dharapani, Chame, and Pisang. Acclimatizing in Manang, you will now head towards the Gangapurna Base Camp. The climbing finally starts from here. You will be climbing for the next 18 days and finally reach the summit of Gangapurna Peak with magnificent views of the  Annapurna Range. On your way back to Kathmandu, you will cross the Thorong la Pass and visit Muktinath temple and head back to Kathmandu to end your trip. 

Baruntse Expedition (7129m)

Baruntse Expedition is a great peak for people who have just started climbing peaks above 7000 meters as it is at an altitude of 7129 meters. Also, the peak provides you with stunning views of the peaks nearby like Everest, Nuptse, Makalu, etc. Also, you get to trek through the remote trails through many remote unexplored settlements like the Hongu Valley. The trekking trails also take you to one of the famous peaks like the Mera Peak. Some of the major attractions of this expedition are the Khumbu Valley and the Amphu Labtsa Pass. All in all the achievement of climbing the peak combined with the magnificent views makes this a great expedition.

About the Route

You begin your Baruntse Expedition with a scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. From Lukla, you will start your trek to Paiya. The trekking trails from Paiya take you to the Chhatra Khola settlements passing through Pangoma and Ningsaw. You will trek all the way to Mera Peak Base Camp from Chhatra Khola taking stops at small villages like Kothe, Thangnak, and Khare. From Mera Peak base camp, you will head to the high camp and finally reach the Baruntse Base Camp. The climbing starts by reaching the summit of Baruntse Peak which takes around 10 days. You will head back after exploring the summit and make your descend to Lukla through Namche Bazaar and board the flight back to Kathmandu.

Tilicho Peak Expedition (7134m)

The trekking trail is just as beautiful and interesting as many remote cultural villages along the way with Tibetan-infused lifestyles and cultures. The views from the peak consist largely of the Annapurna Range which can be clearly seen from the higher trekking trails as well. 

About the Route

Into the deep Annapurna Region, your Tilicho Expedition starts from a long drive from Kathmandu to Chamje. From Chamje, you will trek to Manang making stops at many small settlements along the way like Bagarchhap, Chame, and Pisang. Acclimatizing at Manaf, you will head towards the Tilicho Peak Base Camp passing through Khangsar. There, you will start your climbing session for 17 days. Finally reaching the summit of Tilicho Lake, you will head back to the base camp and return to Khangsar. You will trek back to Chamje and then take a long drive back to Kathmandu ending your expedition.

Pumori Expedition (7161m)

Pumori Expedition is a great experience for people to learn more technical skills for higher peaks. If you are trying to climb a peak over 8000 meters, the Pumori peak will be a great experience for you to polish your technical climbing skills. The peak, in general, is a challenging peak with beautiful views of the mountains like Everest, Cho Oyu, Lhotse, etc. following the authentic Khumbu Trials, you get to witness many beautiful cultural villages along the way. 

About the Route

Starting on the same routes as the famous Khumbu trekking trails, your  Pumori expedition will start with a scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. You will then start your trek from Lukla to Namche through Phakding. Acclimatizing at Namche Bazaar, you will get a day to explore the area. The trek further leads to Everest Base Camp through the beautiful Tengboche monastery and Lobuche settlements. Hiking to Kala Patthar, you will soon trek to Pumori Base Camp and summit the peak. The climb and descend to the base camp takes around 14 days. You will head back to Kathmandu following the Khumbu trails and a scenic flight home.

Ganesh Himal Expedition (7429m)

At an altitude of 7429 meters, Ganesh Himal is clearly visible from Kathmandu when the skies are clear. It takes more than a month for you to complete the Ganesh Himal Expedition but the time is worth it as this destination provides you with so many experiences. Beautiful views with great unique flora and fauna make your trip memorable along with many cultural villages along the way.

About the Route

Your Ganesh Himal Expedition starts at Kathmandu, as we drive all the way to Syabrubesi. Spending the night there, our trek starts as we trek to Paragon and head to Garthali. Resting at every stop and getting to know the people and their lifestyle at every stop, we will head on to Thangjung Kharka followed by Sanjung Kharka. On the way, we will pass through the settlements at Garthali and Kalo Tuppa. Finally, another today of trekking will take us to Ganesh Himal Base Camp. Resting for a day, we will continue the climb for the next 16 days and head back to the base camp. The way back is a decent back to Syabrubesi and a drive back to Kathmandu. 

Gurja Himal Expedition (7193m)

  • Difficulty level: Difficult

One of the lowest Dhaulagiri peaks, Gurja Himal is a beautiful peak to climb with great views and a great sense of achievement. The climb is a bit difficult and technical but you will be assisted by professional guides. 

About the Route

You can choose how to start your journey to the peak either by a scenic flight to Pokhara or a long drive to Pokhara from Kathmandu. Either way, you will head to Darbang from Pokhara and trek to the Lumsang Village via Takum. The trek leads you to the Gurja Village and Darsinge Khara. After a few more days of trekking through beautiful small settlements in the region, you will reach the Gurja Himal base Camp. your climbing session starts from there. The climb and descent take around 18 days. You will retrace your steps and head back to Pokhara and get to Kathmandu on a drive or a flight. 

Api Himal Expedition (7132m)

  • Difficulty level: Challenging

Api Himal stands tall at an altitude of 7132 meters in the western part of Nepal. It is one of the less crowded and remote peaks of the country with magnificent views of the nearby peaks and landscapes. It may be technically challenging requiring training for the climb but it is a beautiful destination for those who love remote areas. The holy lake of Kali Dhunga is a popular attraction of this expedition. 

About the Route

The Api Himal Expedition takes you on a flight from Kathmandu to Dhangadi at the beginning of the trip. The expedition continues with a long drive to Gokulshwor. Finally, the trek starts from Gokuleshwor to Makarighat tenting and camping in various destinations like Karkale and Chiureni. The trek takes you further high to the Api Himal Base Camp passing through Simar and Dhaulo Odar. Once reaching the base camp, your climbing expedition finally starts and you will climb and descend in the next 15 days. The climb is technical so take your time and listen to the guides. You will return to the base camp and head back to Kathmandu ending your trip.

Saipal Himal Expedition (7031m)

  • Number of Days: 26-37days
  • Walking hours per day: 4-5 hours a day
  • Difficulty level: Challenging 

Saipal Himal Expedition is an off-the-beaten-track trek up until the base camp. This means it is one of the best remote treks in the region. The climb is complex in places but the trekking part is stunning and exciting at every turn. As for the climb, the technical parts are a little challenging but the stunning views make up for all the hard work. It is a great experience for boosting your technical climbing skills for higher mountains. 

About the Route

After short sightseeing in Kathmandu, you will head to Nepalgunj from Kathmandu on an exciting flight. Reaching Nepalgunj, you will drive to your destination at Chainpur. The trek starts at Chainpur as you get to Talkot. The trek further extends till you reach High Camp past Jima and Panthera. After a day of acclimatization, you will start your climb for the next 16 days. Finally making the climb, you will reach the summit of Saipal Himal and make your descent, the way back will be the same as the way to the high camp. You will return to Kathmandu on a flight from Nepalgunj ending your adventurous trip.

Nuptse Expedition (7855m)

The Nuptse expedition is an adventurous and technical climb in the Everest Region. At an altitude of 7855 meters, it is one of the highest mountains below 8000 meters. So it will provide you with the best experience and training for mountains above 8000 meters. You get to witness the best views of the mountains in the Khumbu region like Pumori, Everest, Cho Oyu, and many more. Also, the Khumbu trekking trails allow you to explore the cultural villages along the way. 

About the Route

Nuptse Expedition starts with yet another picturesque flight from Kathmandu to Lukla and trekking on the Khumbu trails. Trekking to Namche Bazaar through Phakding, you will have short acclimatization. From Namche, you will continue your trek to Lobuche through Tengboche and Dingboche. The Nuptse Base Camp is only a few hours trek from Lobuche. The climbing period begins now that you have reached the base camp. The climbing and descent take around 25 days since it is a tall mountain. You will return back to Lukla to board your flight back to Kathmandu and end the trip. 

Khangsar Kang Expedition (7485m)

Khangsar Kang is one of the newly opened peaks for an expedition in the Annapurna Region. With the newly opened routes, you can see new and unique terrain and landscapes. At the altitude of 7485 meters, Khang Sar Kang lies at the border of Nepal. Khang Sar Kang takes you to the border of Nepal at the Himalayan barrier in the Annapurna Region. 

About the Route

The route to Khang Sar Kang is similar to the Tilicho Peak as Tilicho Peak combines the two peaks Khangsar and the Nilgiri North Peak. The expedition to reach the summit of Khangsar Kang is an adventurous and unique experience due to the newly opened routes. The trekking trails are not as crowded as the other peaks. Although it may be a difficult technical climb being at the border, the views from the expedition are exhilarating. You will be able to experience this breathtaking experience to the fullest during the Autumn and spring season. They are known to be the best time to ascend on the Khangsar Kang expedition.
